About Your Insurance

Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your carrier. These days, many policies reimburse for at least some chiropractic care. But coverage varies from policy to policy. And constantly changes. Our goal is to help you get well and stay well. Sometimes this is at odds with the profit motives of an insurance company.

This is frustrating for you and us.

To protect our freedom to recommend what's truly best for you, we don't attempt to serve two masters. It's your health and you're the boss. So, we do not take insurance assignment. Instead, payment for our services will be your responsibility.

We will explain the purpose of every procedure. We will supply you with the documents you'll need for filing a claim with your insurance company and supply any help that we can. Please note that some of our services may not be reimbursable under your policy. Click here to download a copy of our simple, one-page financial policy. Rick Asks some important questions of interest to Middletown residents - Chiropractor Middletown Rick Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Where do most Middletown residents get their first subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Middletown newborn.
